I needed an urgent present so I rang Booze and Barrels and was assured it would arrive in time. My custom barrel was delivered to Sydney the next morning. Barrel is great quality and the engraving looks awesome.

Beautiful straight out of the box. Five days of curing saw a few small leaks which had sealed after a day or two, no wax needed. Now filled with five litres of Islay single malt whisky. Very happy. Cat is also happy with the box it came in.
Looks great. About to soak in water for a day, then start my first batch.

Quality of the Barrel and the engravings excellent. As soon as I unpacked it I filled it with a standard blended scotch and I can’t wait to see how it comes out. Not sure I can wait the for 6 weeks before giving it a try though.
